Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats is an effective and affordable veterinary strength medicine to control fleas and ticks on your cat. Containing the well-known active ingredient fipronil, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats effectively kills fleas for up to five weeks and kills ticks at the time of treatment.

Suitable for cats from 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 1kg.

All pets are at risks from fleas, even cats that don’t go outside, as we can bring them in on our clothes. It is important to establish a regular flea control routine for your pets and your home.

95% of the flea’s life cycle is in the home. When tackling a flea problem, in addition to treating your pet, always use a household insecticide, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray or Beaphar Household Flea Fogger for your home.

• MONTHLY TREATMENT: Prevention is the best way to protect your pet from fleas and ticks. For continuous treatment of fleas and ticks apply every 4 weeks.

• EASY TO APPLY: Simply part the coat between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze gently to empty its contents onto the skin. The active formula will then spread across the body and keep your cat protected.

• SUITABLE FOR CATS & KITTENS: Can be used in cats and kittens from 8 weeks of age and/or weighing more than 1kg.

• VET STRENGTH TREATMENT: Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On is a veterinary medicine available without the need for a veterinary prescription. It contains Fipronil which effects the nervous system of fleas, causing hyperactivity. As a result, it is quite common to see ‘more’ fleas following treatment as it takes effect.

Do not use on cats under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1kg, as this could result in overdosing. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Do not use on pregnant or lactating queens. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Do not allow children to play with your cat until the fur is fully dry. Fipronil may adversely affect aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with product or empty pipettes. Do not use on rabbits, as serious adverse reaction or even death could occur. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
